Apparently some kind of general election has been called. If this is the first you're hearing of it, my apologies.

So much of the crisis our society is trapped in is because of our fundamental inequalities of wealth and power. Despite this being very clear, the campaigning of people like you, and the clear will of the public to tackle inequality, our politicians do not appear to be meeting the moment. That is not what many of us hoped for – but this is still a tremendous opportunity to change the course of the UK.

Whatever happens on July 4th, we'll have hundreds of new MPs, new alliances and activists ready to demand better, and a reality that tackling the runaway power and wealth of the super-rich is the only route to a better society.

And we need your help! Your best ideas on what the UK needs, how we can most effectively campaign, and any support you can give will go a long way right now.

Our politicians won't solve the inequality crisis unless we can drag them to it. We're up against obscenely wealth and powerful donors.

And we have no time to lose. Will you help us win a more equal society in this election by chipping in one hours wage, or whatever you can, now?
